Digital X-rays
Here at the Beverly Hills Prestige Dental Group, we use the latest dental X-ray technology: digital radiography. Digital X-rays use an electronic sensor to store and capture accurate digital images of your teeth and mouth.
Taking digital X-rays is faster and much more comfortable than taking traditional X-ray film. Digital X-rays also reduce your exposure to radiation significantly. The digital images taken by the X-ray machine can be viewed instantly by our team, so we will be able to diagnose any developing dental problems much more efficiently.
It is important to have digital dental X-rays taken of your teeth on a regular basis in order to prevent pain, discomfort, and permanent damage to your mouth and teeth. Despite the fact that digital radiography is much safer than traditional X-rays, our Los Angeles office still takes all necessary precautions to prevent your unnecessary exposure to any radiation. We believe that your safety and health are most important.
Do I need a digital X-ray?
Your need and frequency for digital X-rays are based on your dental and medical history, a dental exam by your Los Angeles dentist, any symptoms or signs you may be exhibiting, your risk of disease, and your age. Although full X-rays of your bottom and top teeth should be taken once or twice a year, new digital X-rays may be needed if any unexpected dental problems arise. If you are experiencing any dental pain or problems, we highly recommend that you contact your Los Angeles dentist, Dr. Javdan, promptly.
